As always, Sarasota CarePatrol is busy educating seniors and families for health and safety. We are actively encouraging that whenever possible everyone shop online to order necessary items during this time of recommended social distancing. Some stores are offering curbside pick-up and deliveries. You may be able to utilize a pharmacy that has a drive-up window for picking up your medications or one such as CVS or Walgreen's that is offering free prescription deliveries during this COVID-19 crisis. If you have already exhausted all of your options, please know that CarePatrol has set up a pilot program for those who do not have the means to do online shopping or to get out for curbside store pick-up and drive-thru pharmacies. We are offering this extension of our services at no charge during this COVID-19 crisis.
What we are offering:
We are accepting callers with grocery and household supply needs. Our team will review an order with the senior, place the online order, and bring the store receipt to their doorstep in exchange for a check made out to CarePatrol matching the same order amount. We are also offering curbside pick-up and delivery should deliveries not be a store option.
Store options include but are not limited to:
- Publix
- Walmart
- Target
- Walgreen - Prescription Drive Through
- CVS - Prescription Drive Through
We know that access to adequate nutrition is vital to health and wellness and is especially imperative for our most vulnerable in the community. Our goal is to maximize the health and safety of our seniors by decreasing their risk of exposure to the coronavirus during this outbreak. We are keeping up with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), our State of Florida Department of Health and county guidelines and our response may adjust according to the recommendations from these organizations. We know that our seniors should be staying at home, being diligent about following the precautions and they may be struggling without basic needs. Food, medicines and many household supplies are not optional. We are here, by your side through this journey and always.
